Best Language Institute, located in Kang Nung, Kangwon Do, is one of perhaps hundreds of small, independent commercial English-language schools in South Korea. These schools are a type of hagwan (private school) and generally teach school children, college students, and adults. At BLI, classes meet 6 hours per day, with the lower grades in the morning or afternoon, and the upper grades and adults in the afternoon and evening. The school also conducts English tutoring for government and business offices (usually offsite). Margaret is their only native English speaker. |
