Private Tutoring Ban Unconstitutional

Some ESL teachers in Korea have been fined and deported for violating Korea's law against private tutoring. It's tempting to accept such opportunities, because they can be quite lucrative. Although Margaret enjoys small classes and one-on-one teaching, she hasn't pursued private tutoring, partly because of the law and partly because she values her spare time.

Those so inclined, though, may want to know that (amid considerable controversy) the law has been found unconstitutional. But that doesn't mean tutoring will be unrestricted. Read more:
